We are seeking an experienced ERP Solution Architect to support the design, assessment and delivery of enterprise ERP solutions across a complex application and data landscape. This role will focus on evaluating the current ERP estate, defining target-state solution architectures and providing a clear roadmap to support ERP transformation, modernisation and integration initiatives in line with business, regulatory and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the existing ERP landscape, including core ERP platforms, integrations, data flows and dependencies
- Lead solution architecture across ERP programmes, covering design from discovery through delivery
- Define target-state ERP architectures aligned to business strategy and enterprise standards
- Design scalable, secure and resilient ERP solutions across finance, HR, supply chain and operational domains
- Own integration architecture between ERP platforms and wider enterprise systems
- Identify architectural risks, technical debt and constraints within legacy ERP environments
- Produce pragmatic architecture artefacts, standards and roadmaps to support ERP transformation
- Work closely with delivery teams, vendors and system integrators to ensure architectural alignment
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technical stakeholders
Required Experience:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect working on large-scale ERP platforms
- Strong hands-on experience with at least one major ERP system (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365, IFS, Workday)
- Experience designing ERP integrations across complex enterprise environments
- Strong understanding of data, security and non-functional requirements within ERP solutions
- Ability to translate business requirements into clear, deliverable technical architectures
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
