We are working exclusively in partnership with a major financial services brand to hire an interim on a Fixed Term Contract during a period of positive transformation for the function. You will be critical in shaping how the function operates, bringing structure, discipline and clarity to planning, governance and performance management. You'll work with different areas of communications (internal and external) to build an integrated operating model aligned to business strategy.

The ideal candidate would be from a Marketing Operations / Planning / Governance Background or experienced in designing governance in Communications functions with a strong understanding of how data and insights can improve the impact of internal and customer communications.

We are Looking For:

  • Strong recent experience working in a major financial services brand or regulated environment - essential
  • Track record of going into major organisations and teams of 10+ either as a consultant or on a permanent basis to define the operational processes for communications - essential
  • Open to those from either an external communications, internal communications, or Marketing background as long as there is significant senior experience in Planning, Operations or Governance roles within complex organisations - essential
  • Experience operating at Director / Executive level or equivalent, influencing senior stakeholders and shaping decision-making - essential
  • Experience leading on change or transformation in complex, matrix environments - essential
  • Ability to bring structure, clarity and pace, balancing strategic thinking with delivery - essential
  • Availability to start within the next 1-2 months - essential
