Leading business is looking to bring in a Data Lead to join a large transformation initiative that is modernising core platforms and products across the business, including Microsoft Dynamics 365, Azure, and a new enterprise data platform (Microsoft Fabric). The programme is also driving the integration of UK and US operations, alongside significant business process transformation.
An experienced Data Lead is required to help shape and deliver the next phase of the data strategy, operating model, and platform implementation. This is a highly visible role requiring a proven leader who can operate across both business and technology functions, engaging senior stakeholders and ensuring delivery remains aligned to programme objectives and realised benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a large-scale enterprise data platform implementation
- Define and drive the data workstream strategy, roadmap, and governance
- Support the programme's transition to an MVP-led delivery approach, ensuring focus on business value and measurable outcomes
- Review and help shape the future operating model, benefits realisation, and target-state data capabilities
- Work closely with senior business and technology stakeholders across the UK and US
- Manage dependencies across wider transformation initiatives, including Dynamics 365 and Azure
Required Experience
- Proven track record leading enterprise-scale data platform programmes from inception through to delivery
- Strong experience operating within large business transformation programmes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Strong understanding of modern cloud data platforms and data operating models
- Experience delivering within Microsoft technology environments, including Azure
Desirable Experience
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Exposure to Dynamics 365 transformation programmes
