Are you a hands-on front-end developer who loves bringing exceptional digital experiences to life? Do you enjoy shaping world-class user interfaces using modern frameworks like Sitecore, React, Next.js, and SXA? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing digital function as part of a new Product Experience (PX) Practice. You will play a key role in elevating digital experiences across multiple platforms, working closely with cross-functional product teams to build intuitive, engaging, and high-performing user interfaces.
About the Role
You will be responsible for converting UX design into high-quality UI components and building reusable, scalable component libraries across Sitecore JSS, SXA, and React/Next.js. You will collaborate with UX, product, business, and technology teams to deliver user-centric solutions and support wider initiatives through ideation, POCs, and knowledge sharing. You will also help drive best practices and raise standards in UI/UX across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Transform UX designs into UI components, workflows, and interfaces using React/Next.js and Sitecore.
- Build robust, reusable component libraries across Sitecore JSS, SXA, and React/Next.js.
- Partner with UX designers, product managers, and business analysts to embed user-centred design.
- Develop components to a high standard, following best practices and optimised performance.
- Contribute to reusable design systems and shared libraries used across projects.
- Engage with developers and cross-functional teams to advocate for user-centric solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with evolving UX standards, guidelines, and toolkits.
- Support POCs, design sprints, and innovation sessions.
- Enhance front-end experiences and overall UI/UX across digital products.
- Upskill colleagues in React, Sitecore, and front-end best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong experience as a Sitecore Developer, ideally within a complex or large-scale environment.
- Hands-on experience with Sitecore (JSS, SXA, component libraries) and React/Next.js.
- Experience using tools/services to manage Sitecore XPC (Managed Cloud Offering).
- Knowledge of front-end pipelines and tooling such as Gulp, NPM, Bower, Webpack.
- Practical GitHub experience and familiarity with full development lifecycle.
- Demonstrable experience building applications from scratch.
- Ability to interpret and follow brand guidelines and design standards.
- Deep understanding of user-centred design, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
- Strong communication, facilitation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to quickly adopt and learn new technologies.
Desirable
- Experience with Sitecore SXA, Pega, or Guidewire Digital platforms.
