Senior Tax Accountant Industry: Financial Services London – Hybrid £50,000 – £55,000 Job Purpose Support the Tax team with UK tax reporting and compliance, while improving processes and reporting across tax accounting. Key Responsibilities Analyse UK tax classifications in P&L expenses. Prepare Payroll Settlement Agreement (PSA) calculations. Complete UK tax computations and submit corporation tax returns. Calculate current and deferred tax, including statutory disclosures. Manage quarterly Group Payment Arrangement calculations and HMRC payments. Perform effective tax rate variance analysis and prepare tax-related journals. Support Solvency II tax calculations and ad hoc tax projects. Assess and update reporting processes as needed. Collaborate with Finance and Business Unit contacts. Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual tax provision preparation and reconciliations.
