We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Service Designer to join a high-profile government programme delivering digital transformation at scale. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, user-centred services within a fast-paced environment, applying GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and principles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end service design across complex digital services
  • Map and improve user journeys, ensuring services meet user needs
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including product, research, and delivery
  • Apply GDS standards, playbooks, and service assessments
  • Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
  • Produce service blueprints, artefacts, and design documentation

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Service Designer within government or public sector
  • Strong knowledge of GDS principles and service standards
  • Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
