A leading insurance brokerage specialising in SME and commercial insurance solutions is seeking a dedicated professional to join the company as an Account Handler. They are looking for someone who will play a pivotal role in creating documents for new customers, ensuring all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto the system, and obtaining renewal terms for customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating documents for new customers, along with any mid-term adjustments and renewals information.
  • Ensuring all customer details are recorded accurately and entered onto the system in a timely fashion to ensure data integrity.
  • Obtaining renewal terms for customers, always ensuring you've explored other options before providing the best available solution.
  • Preparing renewal closings from meeting minutes and ensuring cover is bound by the renewal date.
  • Managing insurer and customer queries about their policies.
  • Confirming cover with relevant insurers, processing policies, and chasing up outstanding documentation when required.
  • Dealing with account queries and credit control matters, highlighting any concerns.
  • Applying fundamental legal and regulatory policy in relation to internal policies and the insurance contract as required.

What we're looking for:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Personal Line experience.
  • Previous experience in the insurance/financial services industry.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Being proficient in MS Office; CDL and Acturis experience would be advantageous.
