Technical Support & Production Engineer (Senior)

Overview

We are seeking a senior-level engineer to support sales demonstrations and production activities. The role combines customer-facing technical support with hands-on testing and assembly responsibilities for electronic communications equipment.

Core technical skills

  • Experience with RF systems; cellular experience preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of PC networking and Wi-Fi concepts.
  • Familiarity with common lab instruments (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, signal generator).
  • Comfortable documenting test procedures and results using standard office tools.

Primary responsibilities

  • Prepare and configure equipment for customer demonstrations and field trials.
  • Provide remote and in-person technical support for sales teams and customers.
  • Travel occasionally to support on-site setups and temporary installations in vehicles or aircraft.
  • Assist in production: test and debug circuit boards, assemble units, and perform final functional testing.

Personal traits

  • Comfortable travelling domestically and internationally on a limited basis (occasional trips per year).
  • Resourceful, independent problem-solver who can troubleshoot under time pressure.
  • Strong communicator with a customer-service mindset.
  • Must have 3 to 5 years of experience in Manufacturing or Production
