This role supports a major multi-year transformation programme, providing portfolio-level governance, oversight, and assurance across business and technology change. It ensures initiatives align to strategic objectives, deliver measurable benefits, and meet governance, financial, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and operate portfolio governance, standards, and reporting
- Oversee planning, prioritisation, resourcing, budgets, risks, and dependencies
- Track delivery health, milestones, and benefits realisation
- Produce clear, executive-level performance and risk reporting
- Act as a key liaison between delivery teams and senior leadership
- Embed consistent ways of working, including agile practices
- Build and provide PMO capability across priority initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience delivering complex transformation within UK financial services
- Strong PMO, portfolio, and executive reporting expertise
- Experience with regulatory change, risk frameworks, and financial governance
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and data analysis skills
- Experience using reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI)
Package
- Salary up to £60,000
- Hybrid working: 3 days per week in a Manchester office
