Due to continued project growth, they’re looking to hire Java Developers at all experience levels, from Junior Engineers through to Senior Developers and Technical Leads.

This is an opportunity to work on complex, mission-critical systems that support some of the UK’s most important Defence programmes, using modern cloud and containerisation technologies.

The Role As a Java Developer, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining secure, scalable applications within highly collaborative Agile teams.

You’ll have the opportunity to work across the full software development lifecycle, contributing to technical design, architecture discussions and delivery of cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities Design, develop and maintain Java-based applications Build and deploy solutions within AWS environments Develop containerised applications using Docker Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams Participate in code reviews and technical discussions Contribute to the design of secure and scalable software architectures Ensure software is developed in line with best engineering practices Required Skills & Experience Essential Commercial experience developing applications in Java Experience working with AWS cloud technologies Strong knowledge of Docker and containerisation Experience working within Agile delivery environments Strong communication and problem-solving skills Active SC Clearance Eligibility to undergo Enhanced Developed Vetting (e DV)Desirable Spring Boot Kubernetes Microservices architecture CI/CD tools and Dev Ops practices Experience within Defence, Government or secure environments What’s On Offer?Opportunities available from Junior through to Senior level Salaries ranging from 40,000 to 100,000 depending on experience Work on meaningful projects that make a real impact Access to modern technologies and cloud-native development practices Clear progression and professional development opportunities Collaborative and technically strong engineering teams Location & Security Requirements Due to the secure nature of the work, successful candidates will be required to work onsite in London 4 days per week.
