We are currently seeking an experienced Integration Architect to join a high-profile programme delivering complex integration solutions across Accounts, Payments, and FX domains. This role will focus on shaping and evolving the integration architecture, ensuring seamless connectivity across multiple systems while driving modern, cloud-native best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and evolve the target integration architecture aligned to enterprise standards
- Define and implement integration patterns across distributed teams
- Design and deliver event-driven, API-first, and messaging solutions (NATS, REST)
- Lead end-to-end integration delivery, including hands-on development where required
- Produce key architecture artefacts such as blueprints, contracts, and ADRs
- Engage with stakeholders to align cross-team integration initiatives
Key Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (NATS, pub/sub)
- Expertise in API-first design (REST, gRPC) and microservices architecture
- Hands-on experience with Java / Spring Boot
- Proven delivery of cloud-native solutions on AWS (ECS/EKS, SQS/SNS, API Gateway)
- Experience delivering complex integrations within financial services (Payments, FX, Retail Banking)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Additional:
- Experience with API governance and integration best practices
- Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD environments
- Comfortable producing architecture documentation (C4, ADRs, diagrams)
