The Opportunity
We're supporting a growing loyalty and rewards organisation that is continuing to expand its data capability following significant business growth. They are seeking a hands-on Data Engineering Tech Lead to provide technical leadership across their data platform, working closely with the Head of Data to drive architectural decisions, engineering standards and platform evolution. This is a technical leadership role rather than a people management position, with a strong focus on remaining hands-on with engineering and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and architecture across the data platform.
- Provide guidance on engineering best practices and technical standards.
- Conduct code reviews and support quality assurance activities.
- Work closely with the Head of Data on technical decision-making.
- Support the development and evolution of cloud data solutions.
- Contribute directly to engineering delivery and implementation.
