This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful transformation programmes across both public and private sector organisations while developing your expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role

As a Service Designer, you will support clients through the end-to-end service design lifecycle, helping to create innovative products and services from early discovery and ideation through to delivery, testing and continuous improvement. You will work within cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality service design outputs, champion accessibility and inclusion and advocate for user-centred design principles throughout project delivery.

  • Facilitate workshops, ideation sessions and collaborative design activities
  • Identify and manage risks, escalating where appropriate
  • Promote and advocate for user-centred design among stakeholders and project teams
  • Bring a curious mindset with a passion for understanding user needs and challenging assumptions

Skills & Experience

Essential Experience

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in service design and product design
  • Proven ability to work across the full service design lifecycle with minimal supervision
  • Experience working with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and design principles, or comparable design frameworks
  • Strong capability in producing service design artefacts including current and future-state user journeys, personas, service concepts, service blueprints and related design documentation
  • Experience identifying potential accessibility barriers for complex user groups
  • Experience facilitating workshops, design sprints, ideation sessions or similar activities
  • Ability to visualise complex services in an accessible and engaging way for different audiences
