Fantastic new opportunity to join our Glasgow-based technology services client. The business is now recruiting for an experienced and technically-driven 3rd Line Support Analyst, as they continue to grow their operations team in Glasgow.
You will act as the highest level of technical escalation within the support function, tasked with diagnosing and resolving issues across infrastructure, cloud and networking as they arise. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior technical professional who enjoys troubleshooting challenging issues, driving continuous improvement and working with modern cloud and data centre technologies.
- Handling technical incidents and service requests.
- Resolving infrastructure, server, storage, virtualisation, and networking issues.
- Co-ordinating and owning support tickets, ensuring service levels are maintained.
- Maintenance of core service platforms, including patching and incident resolution.
- Liaising with 3rd party vendors and customers.
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation.
Technical Skills & Experience (A blend of):
- Physical troubleshooting and installation skills across predominantly Windows servers.
- Experience with storage platforms and backup technologies.
- VMware or Hyper-V expertise.
- Networking and Firewall experience across Cisco and Fortigate.
- Experience working within ITIL-based service environments.
Desirable:
- Experience of working within an MSP.
- Linux administration experience.
