An opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join a multi-site enterprise environment, supporting and enhancing a broad and modern infrastructure estate. You'll play a key role in maintaining platform stability, driving security compliance (patching, hardening, vulnerability remediation), and supporting both BAU and project delivery.

The role offers exposure across virtualisation, security tooling, networking, and cloud-aligned technologies - ideal for someone comfortable operating across the full infrastructure landscape and resolving complex, real-world issues.

Key responsibilities:
  • Support and maintain core infrastructure (Windows Server, VMware, Citrix, security & networking tools)
  • Drive patching, vulnerability remediation (Tenable/Nessus) & cyber compliance (Cyber Essentials+)
  • Support incident, problem & change across infrastructure and networking
  • Assist with project delivery and hardware deployments (multi-site)
  • Collaborate with internal teams and 3rd parties to ensure reliable service delivery
Skills / experience:
  • Enterprise Windows Server admin, patching & support
  • VMware (ESXi / vCenter)
  • Citrix (Cloud, VDA, VDI)
  • Security tooling (Trellix, SCCM, Ivanti, Zscaler ZIA/ZPA)
  • Networking: Cisco (switching, WiFi, ISE/802.1x), Fortigate firewalls (VPNs, DMZs)
  • Core services: AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, DFS
  • Strong IP networking knowledge (routing, security)
  • Experience in multi-site environments (500+ users)
  • Strong communication skills (technical – business stakeholders)
