We're partnering exclusively with a household name in the South West to recruit a Customer Data Lead to help shape how data is used to support customer engagement and internal decision-making. This role sits across data, digital and marketing, with responsibility for leading a team and working closely with a range of stakeholders to deliver data-led solutions.
The Role
- Develop approaches for using customer data to support engagement activity
- Contribute to plans relating to personalisation and communications
- Oversee the management of data used across customer channels
- Identify opportunities where data can support improved customer and business outcomes
- Work with teams across marketing, technology and other areas to build advocacy for a data-led approach, ensuring activity aligns with internal governance, compliance and security requirements
- Lead and support a team focused on data and activation delivery
- Manage and prioritise work based on business needs and available data
- Act as a key contact point between teams using data for engagement
We're Looking For
- Experience working with data to support customer engagement or marketing activity
- Understanding of how customer data is used across digital or communication channels
- Experience leading or supporting teams delivering data-related work
- Ability to work with a range of stakeholders across different functions
- Awareness of data governance, consent and regulatory considerations for customer data and communications
- Experience working in environments involving data platforms or marketing technology
- Ability to manage priorities and balance multiple pieces of work
- Experience in specific tooling and technology is not essential, but the successful candidate will have had deep experience of Cloud Data Analytics Platforms and CRM/ Engagement Platforms.
