Sanderson Government and Defence are supporting a commercial supplier to government in their search for a Cloud Java Developer to work out of either Manchester or Gloucestershire. This client offers a very strong package and an excellent development programme, with a real willingness to support both financially and otherwise.
Tech wise, we have a requirement for both Java and Python backend languages, and cloud experience would also be very helpful indeed. AWS is by far the most prevalent, but we will look at individuals with transferable experience in this area.
Role responsibilities
- Interacting with project roles as required, to gain an understanding of the business environment, technical context, and organisational strategic direction.
- Advising our customer on the latest technologies and methodologies, designing and implementing innovative approaches to their problems using automation.
- Understanding security policies and implementing solutions to satisfy security requirements.
- Designing and implementing solutions which have high availability and are scalable.
