We’ve partnered exclusively with an awesome scaling global FinTech as they grow out their capabilities for the UK operations. They currently process over a billion USD a year across 15 countries and are continuing to expand globally.
As a result, they’re now looking for a commercially focused Head of Product / Product lead to help conceptualisation and launch of their Card offering in the UK.
An overview of the key aspects of the role:
- Define and execute the strategy for a new product, taking it from idea to commercial launch.
- Combine strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. Work closely with customers and partners to uncover, gain an insight into their needs and to develop impactful solutions, while partnering with Commercial, Marketing and Product teams to shape roadmaps.
- Designing end-to-end user journeys as the basis of a minimum viable open-loop Issuing product.
- Establishing and negotiating new commercial models in the prepaid ecosystem appropriate for specific domain.
- Validating the commercial and technical viability of the proposition with customers.
The measure of your success will be simple and transparent: the launch of card programs that displace the proprietary smart cards, driving measurable adoption and business growth.
What we’re looking for:
- Extensive experience in card issuing, ideally within an API-first fintech environment.
- Strong understanding of card issuing (prepaid, debit, credit), BIN sponsorship, card processing, and network requirements.
- Experience building both new products (0->1) as well as a track record of shipping and continuous innovation across a product portfolio.
- Experience leading cross-team initiatives from ideation to execution.
- Technical expertise: You’ve led technical products ideally within the Payments, Cards or FinTech domain.
