We're supporting a leading fintech organisation in the search for an accomplished Hosting & Network Manager to oversee the operational delivery, resilience and security of critical infrastructure services. This role is ideally suited to an experienced people leader who can combine strong operational governance with stakeholder engagement, ensuring infrastructure platforms remain secure, compliant and capable of supporting a complex business environment.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide leadership and direction to a specialist infrastructure team, creating a high-performance culture focused on delivery, ownership and continual enhancement.
  • Take overall responsibility for the governance and operational effectiveness of the organisation's hosting estate, spanning data centre and co-location environments.
  • Ensure the successful management of virtualisation, compute and storage platforms through effective oversight of internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Maintain robust governance across enterprise networking services, ensuring performance, resilience and security standards are consistently achieved.
  • Oversee business continuity, backup and recovery capabilities, ensuring infrastructure services align with business and regulatory expectations.
  • Champion the adoption of security best practices, technical standards and control frameworks across the infrastructure estate.
  • Identify opportunities to improve service quality, consistency and efficiency through automation, process optimisation and standardisation.
  • Manage key technology partners and vendors, monitoring service performance and ensuring contractual commitments are met.
  • Provide senior-level guidance on infrastructure risks, operational resilience and technology strategy to a variety of business stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience leading infrastructure, hosting or network teams within financial services or another highly regulated sector.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise infrastructure operations, hosting environments and network governance.
  • A track record of enhancing operational controls, service stability and team performance.
  • Experience working within regulated environments, with an understanding of risk, compliance and audit requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build credibility and influence at all levels of an organisation.

Desirable Technical Exposure:

  • Knowledge of VMware, NetApp, enterprise networking, Infrastructure-as-Code, disaster recovery and security frameworks within regulated enterprise environments.

Location: Bristol (2-3 days per week onsite)
