The Opportunity
We're looking for a commercially astute Procurement Manager to lead the delivery of strategic sourcing across HR and Professional Services spend. This is a high-impact role where you'll partner closely with senior stakeholders to drive value, strengthen supplier relationships and shape procurement strategy across a critical indirect category.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activity across HR and Professional Services (e.g. recruitment, contingent labour, consultancy, L&D)
- Develop and implement category strategies aligned to wider business objectives
- Run sourcing events, including RFPs/RFQs, from market analysis through to contract award
- Negotiate commercial contracts, ensuring value for money without compromising quality
- Build and manage strong relationships with key suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Deliver measurable cost savings, process improvements and risk mitigation
- Analyse spend data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making
- Ensure compliance with procurement governance, policies and best practice
About You
- Proven experience in procurement or category management, ideally within HR and/or Professional Services
- Strong track record of delivering end-to-end sourcing and commercial outcomes
- Skilled negotiator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
- Experience managing supplier relationships and driving performance improvements
- Commercially minded with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
