Business Systems Specialist
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)Salary: Competitive + Benefits The Opportunity We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Business Systems Specialist to join a growing organisation based in Birmingham.
This role sits at the heart of business operations, providing expert support for key business systems and processes used across the organisation.
You will act as a trusted point of contact for colleagues, helping to resolve system queries, improve user experiences, support change initiatives and identify opportunities to enhance processes and efficiency.
Working closely with operational, business and technical teams, you will play an important role in ensuring systems remain effective, users are supported, and continuous improvements are delivered that positively impact both colleagues and customers.
What You'll Be Doing Acting as the first point of contact for colleagues requiring support with business systems, processes and operational queries.
Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business to understand challenges and identify opportunities for improvement.
Supporting system enhancements, upgrades and wider change initiatives, ensuring smooth implementation and adoption.
Monitoring and managing incidents, service requests and recurring issues, identifying trends and driving long-term solutions.
Delivering onboarding, training and ongoing support to system users, helping colleagues maximise the value of business systems and processes.
Producing and maintaining reports, operational data and management information to support decision-making and business performance.
What We're Looking For Previous experience in a systems support, business support, operations support or business systems role.
Strong Microsoft Excel, Word and database skills.
A proactive mindset with a genuine interest in improving systems, processes and user experiences.
A collaborative approach and willingness to work across multiple business functions.
