Senior Firmware Engineer (SC Clearable)
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join a leading organisation based in the UK. Within this position you will have a strong understanding of communications systems designs and modem development, including the design, implementation and test of communications signal processing chain components
Rate – £700.00 per day inside ir35
Location – 3 Days a week Onsite London
Duration – 9 months with the potential of extension
Key Skills
- Significant firmware development experience (VHDL) for FPGAs/RFSoCs
- Experience with Xilinx chipsets (Zynq) and design tools (Vivado) is preferable
- A proven ability to develop detailed designs and implementation from outline concepts and system technical requirements
- Ability to procude well written design documentations to accompany commented source codes
- Experience with Software Version Control Systems (GIT)
- Understanding of optical communications systems is desirable
