Sanderson Recruitment are hiring an Implementation Engineer to work with a well-regarded FinTech client who provide global connectivity infrastructure and analytics tools within financial markets. This person will have the opportunity to support the delivery and integration of a core analytics platform for clients operating in fast-moving technical environments.
Responsibilities
- Help prepare, configure and deploy systems, assist clients through onboarding, and ensure solutions run reliably in production.
- Investigate technical issues, refine integrations, and work closely with engineers to improve tooling, deployment processes and platform capabilities.
- Work hands-on with Linux environments, scripting, data exploration and operational metrics, while contributing to enhancements that make the platform easier to deploy and maintain.
- Design new solutions to meet emerging requirements.
- Translate client needs and requirements and work with internal development teams during delivery and support cycles.
Required Experience
- Ideally, you will have a software engineering/delivery/integration background, however candidates with a strong systems engineering/support background alongside the other required skills will be considered.
- Experience working with Linux-based systems and environments.
- Understanding of networking technologies (network traffic, packet tracing, networking protocols).
- Understanding of APIs.
- Solid understanding of database fundamentals and some experience of querying databases to identify issues.
