Sanderson are currently looking to hire a Linux Engineer for a long-term client of ours. The role will be delivering support across the Linux function, ensuring strong, robust solutions. The role is a chance for you to leverage your background to support a high-performance computing platform which needs to adhere to exacting security standards.

Who We're Looking For

  • Strong stakeholder management and customer skills, willing to work onsite.
  • Automation-focused, eager to enhance Scripting.

Your Role

  • Support Linux Infrastructure across multiple projects.
  • Help define operational processes and resolve escalations.
  • Occasionally assist with pre-sales or future system designs.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Red Hat Certified Engineer or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience with Linux administration and support across several different distributions.
  • Experience with Linux in an integrated Windows/Active Directory environment.
  • Experience with Linux automation systems such as Ansible.
  • Experience with Linux Scripting across several different languages.
  • Experience of Clustered environments and cluster orchestration tools.
  • Experience of clustered, parallel file systems.
  • Knowledge of HPC management systems.

This role will require you to be willing and eligible to undergo a high level of UK security clearance.
