Our Blue Chip Utility Client is looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to manage the tender process for NEC contracts. The role will be 50% onsite (either Aberdeen, Perth or Glasgow) and will involve managing multiple projects concurrently to NEC standards.
- Experience of working with projects of significant value (from £20M to £50M)
- Negotiating and drafting contracts
- Managing the tender process for NEC contracts (all current contracts are NEC-based)
- Overseeing post-contract activities, including forecasting payments, accruals, and managing compensation events
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously (typically six or seven projects)
- Experience of drafting and interpreting commercial contracts together with knowledge of Standard Form construction contracts and bespoke contract arrangements
- Experience of working with NEC/FIDIC Contracts
