We're on the lookout for Business Reconciliation Analysts to join our consultancy client to support a large finance migration. In this critical role, you'll be the gatekeeper of data integrity - running reports, performing reconciliations, and ensuring our clients receive accurate, high-quality information every time.
- Independently generate and upload financial and operational reports from internal systems.
- Conduct thorough reviews of reports and reconciliation outputs to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Perform sense checks and spot checks to identify anomalies or inconsistencies.
- Escalate discrepancies clearly and promptly.
- Finalise and approve reports for client distribution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve reporting issues.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large data sets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Desirable Extras:
- Familiarity with general ledger (GL) and sub-ledger structures.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Experience with financial systems such as Oracle and Apex.
