We're looking for a Digital Architect to help shape and govern digital solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences and power a large-scale digital transformation. You'll work in a fast-moving, agile environment, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and delivery teams to design digital services that are scalable, secure, and built to perform.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing and governing modern digital applications and services that promote a strong digital culture.
- Working with internal teams and external partners to ensure solutions align with agreed architectural principles and standards.
- Supporting product teams with pragmatic, business-focused technical solutions.
- Ensuring all designs align with the wider enterprise architecture vision and governance frameworks.
- Championing modern engineering practices, including test-driven and behaviour-driven development.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience designing and architecting digital solutions, ideally in complex or large-scale environments.
- Strong knowledge of mobile platforms, CRM, eCommerce, and cloud technologies (Azure and/or AWS).
- Experience with microservices architecture, APIs, and recognised architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF).
- A solid understanding of GDPR, data protection, and cyber security principles.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Travel 1-2 times a week to Burton on Trent.
