Citrix Cloud/VDI specialist, Cloud Migration, Remote Specialist Citrix/VDI specialist required for an industry leading business. The wider project is a Europe-wide migration from legacy, on premise technology to a Citrix and Cloud (Azure) solution. The successful candidate will be part of an international Virtual Workplace team consisting managing Citrix farms for a large number of users. You will work closely with other Workplace & Infrastructure technical, project and product; this role will involve the delivery of strategic direction and expansion of the Europe-wide Virtual desktop estate. A strong design and integration mind-set to support any future move to a true cloud based service id essential. Service can be provide on a remote basis. This assignment is required to operate through an Umbrella company and all employer, employee tax and NI will be deducted from the rate. General responsibilities: – Contribute significantly to and assist with the delivery and maintenance of the Virtual Desktop roadmap, in conjunction with relevant Tech Specialists & architects. Develop virtual desktop and application hosting offerings to support local & global requirements. Develop business cases for usage of the correct desktop platforms to local and global customers.
