The Opportunity

Sanderson King is partnering with a high-growth, PE-backed, premium multi-site healthcare business that is investing significantly in its brand, digital capability and continued expansion.

With an ambitious pipeline of new clinics planned across London and longer-term UK and international growth ambitions, the business is looking to appoint a Performance Marketing Manager to build and own its performance marketing engine.

Reporting directly to the CMO, this is a highly visible and hands‑on role spanning paid media, SEO, AI search/GEO, analytics, content and conversion optimisation.

This isn't an agency‑management position.

We're looking for someone who genuinely understands performance marketing, enjoys getting into the data and campaigns themselves, and can combine analytical thinking with excellent copywriting and commercial judgement.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of customer acquisition across paid and organic channels, continually testing and optimising performance as the business expands its clinic network.

You’ll work closely with the wider marketing team, operational teams and internal subject‑matter experts, alongside external designers and developers.

  • Paid Media & Customer Acquisition
  • Own and manage Google Ads and Meta Ads across multiple locations and service lines.
  • Develop campaign structures, targeting, bidding strategies and budget allocation.
  • Continuously test creative, audiences, landing pages and advertising copy.
  • Monitor and optimise ROAS, CPA, conversion and other key acquisition metrics.
  • Quickly identify underperforming campaigns and take action.
  • Develop scalable approaches to paid acquisition as new locations launch.
  • Manage budgets carefully and ensure marketing investment is focused on the highest-performing opportunities.
  • SEO & Organic Growth
  • Own and develop the SEO strategy.
  • Conduct detailed keyword and competitor research.
  • Identify new organic growth opportunities.
  • Optimise existing website content and landing pages.
  • Develop new search-led content based on customer behaviour and intent.
  • Monitor rankings, traffic and conversion performance.
  • Work with developers to address technical SEO opportunities.
  • AI Search & GEO

Search behaviour is changing rapidly, and this business wants to be ahead of that curve.

You’ll help develop its approach to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) alongside traditional SEO, including:

  • Optimising content for AI-powered search.
  • Understanding how platforms such as Chat GPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are changing customer discovery.
  • Testing new approaches to content structure and authority.
  • Monitoring emerging search trends and adapting strategy accordingly.
  • Helping shape the company's longer-term approach to AI-driven customer acquisition.
  • Content & Copywriting

This role requires someone who can write as well as analyse.

You’ll

  • Create compelling website and landing-page copy.
  • Write high-performing paid advertising campaigns.
  • Develop content that combines brand storytelling with measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Work with internal subject‑matter experts to translate complex information into clear, engaging customer communications.
  • Use AI tools intelligently to accelerate content production without compromising quality or brand voice.
  • Help bring individual locations, teams and services to life through engaging digital content.
  • Analytics & Reporting

You’ll ensure decisions are based on evidence rather than instinct.

Responsibilities include

  • Building and maintaining performance reporting.
  • Tracking paid, organic, content and conversion performance.
  • Using GA4, Looker Studio and Google Search Console to understand customer behaviour.
  • Presenting clear insights and recommendations to the CMO and wider leadership team.
  • Identifying opportunities and problems early.
  • Continually improving attribution and understanding of marketing ROI.
  • Website & Conversion
  • Work closely with designers and developers to improve website performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and customer journeys.
  • Develop and test landing pages.
  • Ensure digital content remains accurate, current and consistent with the brand.
  • Support the evolution of the website as the business and location network expands.
  • New Clinic Launches & Growth

As the business expands, you’ll play an important role in supporting new locations.

You’ll work with marketing and operational teams to

  • Develop location-specific acquisition campaigns.
  • Build local search visibility ahead of openings.
  • Launch paid campaigns around new locations and services.
  • Monitor early performance and optimise activity quickly.
  • Develop repeatable digital marketing playbooks that can be deployed as the estate grows.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines performance marketing expertise with a genuine growth mentality.

You’ll ideally bring

  • At least 4–5 years' experience in performance or digital marketing.
  • Strong hands‑on experience managing Google Ads and Meta Ads.

  • Experience managing meaningful paid-media budgets.
  • Strong knowledge of campaign structure, bidding, targeting and optimisation.

  • Confidence using AI tools to improve marketing productivity and effectiveness.
  • An understanding of AI search, GEO and emerging digital discovery trends.
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to turn data into action.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

Experience within healthcare, clinics, hospitality, wellness, leisure, retail or another high-growth consumer environment would be particularly attractive.

  • Additional Skills That Would Be Valuable
  • Google Ads certification.
  • Word Press or Webflow experience.
  • Basic HTML knowledge.
  • Experience working with developers and designers.
  • Local SEO and multi-location search.
  • Experience launching new physical locations.
  • The Person

This business moves quickly, so we’re looking for someone who is

  • Hands-on
  • happy to get directly into campaigns rather than simply managing agencies.
  • Analytical
  • naturally interested in understanding why something is or isn’t working.
  • Commercial
  • understands that marketing ultimately needs to deliver profitable growth.
  • Curious
  • particularly around AI and the changing nature of search.
  • A strong communicator
  • able to turn data into clear recommendations.
  • A great writer
  • equally comfortable with an advert, landing page or longer-form content.

  • Fast-moving
  • comfortable working within an ambitious scale‑up.
  • Detail-oriented
  • able to maintain quality while working at pace.

Why Join?
