An established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Partner-level Real Estate lawyer to lead and grow its Manchester-based property practice. This is a strategic leadership role within a growing commercial legal team, offering the opportunity to shape and expand a real estate function with ambitious growth plans already in motion.

The successful individual will oversee a team of fee earners, drive business development activity, manage key client relationships, and work closely with senior leadership on the wider commercial strategy. The firm supports a broad range of corporate, SME and high-net-worth clients across multiple sectors and has an established national presence.

The Opportunity

  • Lead and develop a growing Real Estate team
  • Drive client acquisition and broader business development initiatives
  • Oversee complex real estate transactions including acquisitions, disposals, leasing and development matters
  • Mentor and develop junior lawyers and support staff
  • Collaborate closely with senior leadership and other legal departments on integrated client solutions

About You

  • Be an experienced Real Estate Partner, Legal Director or Senior Associate ready to step into a leadership position
  • Have strong technical expertise across commercial property matters
  • Possess a demonstrable track record in business development and client relationship management
  • Be commercially minded with strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ideally have experience or exposure to the social care sector, although this is not essential
