One of the most exciting consumer growth stories we’ve come across this year. A premium, multi-site brand — with clear ambitions to become the Third Space within its category — is now at the point where building a best-in-class leadership team is critical to what comes next. This is a career-defining opportunity for the right person.
The role:
- Build and lead the People function from first principles — strategy through to execution
- Partner directly with the Founder and senior leadership team on all people-related decisions
- Design and implement organisational structure to support rapid multi-site growth
- Lead hiring strategy across head office and site-level teams
- Build performance frameworks, incentives and progression pathways
- Shape culture, values and employee experience as the business scales
- Oversee L&D, retention and engagement — creating a high-performance environment
- Ensure the right balance of structure vs agility as the business grows
Why this role stands out:
- You’re not inheriting a function — you’re building it
- Genuine influence at board level from day one
- High-growth environment with real pace and momentum
- A chance to be part of something that will scale significantly over the next 24 months
This is not about process-heavy HR. It’s about building a people function that enables growth, attracts top talent and drives performance across a multi-site business.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Operates in true founder mode — hands-on and high ownership
- Has experience in scaling consumer, retail or multi-site environments
- Is commercially minded and understands growth levers
- Brings energy, pace and a bias towards action
- Is motivated by long-term value creation, not just short-term reward
The detail:
c.£70–100k base. Equity upside for those who want to build something meaningful. Alongside this, we’re also supporting the appointment of a CTO and CFO — a full leadership build-out at a pivotal moment. If you want to build, shape and scale — this is worth a conversation.
