Head of Product – Artisan High-Growth Hospitality Brand
Location: Hybrid (London & Remote)
An innovative and fast-growing artisan hospitality brand is seeking a Head of Product to drive its product innovation and development strategy. With a premium positioning and a dedicated customer base, this brand is expanding rapidly and looking for a strategic leader to take ownership of its New Product Development (NPD) pipeline—from concept to launch.
The Role
As Head of Product, you will be responsible for shaping the future of the brand’s product portfolio, ensuring innovation aligns with commercial goals and customer expectations. You will work closely with senior leadership, marketing, retail operations, and supply chain teams to introduce new, high-quality offerings that enhance the brand’s reputation and support its ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic NPD roadmap to support long-term business growth.
- Lead the end-to-end product development process, from ideation and testing to refinement and launch.
- Manage and inspire a small but dynamic NPD team, fostering a culture of creativity and commercial success.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external hospitality & retail partners to bring new products to market.
- Drive category expansion, evolving the existing range while exploring adjacent opportunities.
- Host innovation sessions and product showcases to align stakeholders and demonstrate future opportunities.
- Optimise the product portfolio, balancing innovation with improvements to core offerings.
- Oversee budget management for the NPD function, ensuring premium quality while maintaining cost efficiencies.
What We’re Looking For:
- A strategic and creative NPD leader with a strong track record of developing and launching successful food & beverage products.
- Experience in premium, consumer-driven brands, ideally within hospitality, retail, or FMCG.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, including category refreshes and new market entries.
- Ability to lead and inspire teams, driving best practices in NPD, innovation, and commercial performance.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leaders and external partners.
- Passion for flavour innovation, consumer trends, and premium food & drink experiences.
- Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to translate insights into profitable product strategies.
