This is a senior, highly visible appointment for an accomplished finance leader who can combine strategic thinking with a practical, hands-on approach.

Working closely with the CEO, Board and wider leadership team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the financial leadership of the Group and play a central role in its continued growth and development. The role will include:

  • Leading the Group’s finance function and developing a high-performing team

  • Providing clear financial insight to support commercial and strategic decision-making
  • Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, reporting and financial planning
  • Strengthening financial controls, systems, processes and management information
  • Supporting business planning, investment decisions and future growth opportunities
  • Improving commercial performance, profitability and operational efficiency
  • Managing external relationships with auditors, banks, advisers and other stakeholders

  • A willingness to remain hands-on and close to the operational detail
  • Strong commercial judgement and the ability to influence at Board level
  • Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder-management skills
