Sanderson King is delighted to be supporting a well-established and forward-thinking law firm as they expand their employment law team in Manchester. Our client is a growing practice with a clear commitment to client outcomes, legal excellence, and team development.
We’re currently seeking a talented Employment Solicitor (NQ to 3 years PQE) to join their team and play a key role in delivering both contentious and non-contentious advice to a broad portfolio of clients, including some well-known national retail brands.
The Role
- Advising a mix of insurers, insureds, and private clients on day-to-day employment law matters and pre-litigation disputes.
- Handling ACAS early conciliation processes, including negotiation and settlement drafting.
- Advising on employment documentation: contracts, handbooks, and settlement agreements.
- Guiding clients through disciplinary, grievance, and HR processes.
- Managing Employment Tribunal matters from start to finish, including drafting, compliance, and advocacy.
- Supporting the delivery of employment law updates, training materials, and knowledge sharing across the wider business.
What We’re Looking For
- Between NQ and 3 years post-qualified experience in employment law.
- Solid grounding in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
- A confident, client-facing manner with strong drafting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.
- Commercial awareness and a collaborative mindset.
- Confidence to attend hearings or brief counsel where appropriate.
