Senior Leadership Opportunity – Director of IT Systems

Sanderson King is supporting a well-backed, fast-scaling insurance business as it strengthens its technology capability during a critical growth phase. This is a newly created, senior role reporting into the COO and playing a central role in how the business operates and scales.
This is a highly visible leadership role with full ownership of IT operations, third-party vendors and core business systems. The Director of IT Systems will act as the bridge between the business, technology partners and senior leadership, ensuring systems are robust, secure and fit for scale.
Key Responsibilities- Ownership of day-to-day IT operations and service delivery
- Management of MSPs, technology vendors and outsourced providers
- Leading the selection, build and rollout of a new core policy administration system
- Ownership of SaaS platforms, system integrations and access controls
- Oversight of IT security, resilience and best-practice controls
- Translating business needs into effective technology solutions
- Acting as a senior technology partner to the leadership team
- Senior IT or systems leadership experience within insurance or financial services
- Strong preference for commercial, specialty, MGA or scaling insurance environments
- Proven experience managing third-party vendors and complex applications
- Experience leading major system implementations or transformations
