Teams Telephony Engineer

Working within a highly secure defence setting, you will play a key role in designing, implementing and supporting modern telephony and collaboration solutions while ensuring the stability, security and resilience of critical infrastructure services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and support Microsoft Teams Telephony and Voice solutions.
- Lead infrastructure and collaboration technology workstreams across complex defence projects.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting, fault diagnosis and resolution for telephony and infrastructure services.
- Ensure service delivery meets demanding SLAs and operational requirements.
- Work within strict governance, security and change management processes.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives, increasing supportability and reducing operational costs.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Active SC Clearance.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Voice, Direct Routing, SIP, VoIP and Unified Communications technologies.
- Extensive experience supporting and managing enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience with technologies such as virtualization, messaging platforms, Windows infrastructure, file/print services and enterprise collaboration tools.
- Proven experience leading technical projects or workstreams using recognised methodologies such as PRINCE2 or PMI.
- Experience operating within highly regulated, secure environments with robust governance controls.
- Strong understanding of service management and working to challenging SLA targets
