We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join a large-scale transformation programme within a complex enterprise environment. This is a hands-on, analytical role where you will take high-level discovery outputs and turn them into clear, structured data artefacts that support migration and modernisation efforts.
The Role
- Act as the bridge between business, architecture, and engineering teams, owning the understanding of as-is vs to-be data landscapes and driving clarity across multiple data streams.
- Review and interpret discovery & handover documentation.
- Define and build data dictionaries, logical & physical data models.
- Produce entity relationship diagrams, data flows, and mappings.
- Analyse data structures (data types, PK/FK relationships, capture methods).
- Support migration from legacy systems into modern platforms.
- Work across a variety of data sources (spreadsheets to decommissioned systems).
- Capture and manage requirements via Jira (user stories, tickets).
- Collaborate closely with ETL engineers, architects, and developers.
- Engage directly with stakeholders – setting up and leading client meetings.
Environment
- Large organisation with AWS & Azure estate.
- Ongoing migration to Power Platform.
- Reporting & dashboards via Power BI.
- Some exposure to tools like Databricks beneficial.

- Strong experience as a Data Analyst in complex environments.
