Product Assurance Engineer

Alton, East Hampshire (Hybrid)

GBP45k – GBP60k DOE

Role details:

We are working with an innovative company with a close-knit, family culture and large organisation backing. They are world-class experts in designing, building, and operating impactful space missions and are looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to play a key role in delivering their small satellite systems and space data products.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand, tailor and communicate engineering processes
  • Problem solving – strong mind-set and knowledge of processes/tools
  • Support to planning and monitoring of test and verification campaigns
  • Design and development phases of products (hardware, software and/or service)
  • Non-Conformance Management

Responsibilities:

  • Define product assurance and quality requirements for projects.
  • Translate the requirements into a specific, pragmatic approach for the project.
  • Monitor the implementation of product assurance measures during the design, manufacturing, integration, test and trials phases of the programme.
  • Audit and monitor the quality management approach of key suppliers.
  • Support the component & material procurement/selection process against the space environment requirements.

Eligibility:

To be considered for the role, you must have UK Right to Work + Residence in the UK for the past 5 years.
