Product Assurance Engineer

Role details:
We are working with an innovative company with a close-knit, family culture and large organisation backing. They are world-class experts in designing, building, and operating impactful space missions and are looking for a Product Assurance Engineer to play a key role in delivering their small satellite systems and space data products.
Requirements:
- Ability to understand, tailor and communicate engineering processes
- Problem solving – strong mind-set and knowledge of processes/tools
- Support to planning and monitoring of test and verification campaigns
- Design and development phases of products (hardware, software and/or service)
- Non-Conformance Management
Responsibilities:
- Define product assurance and quality requirements for projects.
- Translate the requirements into a specific, pragmatic approach for the project.
- Monitor the implementation of product assurance measures during the design, manufacturing, integration, test and trials phases of the programme.
- Audit and monitor the quality management approach of key suppliers.
- Support the component & material procurement/selection process against the space environment requirements.
Eligibility:
