Position: VMware Principal Consultant
Location: Hatfield, Hertfordshire
Daily Rate: £800 - £1,000 per day inside IR35
Clearance: UKSV SC Clearance Required
We're looking for a high-impact VMware Principal Consultant to lead from the front - designing, shaping, and delivering cutting-edge VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solutions for enterprise customers. If you're passionate about cloud platforms, thrive in complex environments, and want to influence how organisations evolve their VMware ecosystems - this role is for you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end design and architecture of VMware Cloud Foundation solutions
- Deliver and optimise VCF deployments, ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance
- Drive upgrades to VCF9 and unlock the full value of its capabilities
- Build automation-first platforms using modern tooling and scripting
- Provide technical leadership across customer engagements
- Tailor VCF environments with advanced customisation and integration
- Work across a variety of projects - design, deployment, and automation
What You'll Bring
- Strong, hands-on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 5)
- VCP-VCF certified (essential) and actively preparing for VCF 9 certification
- Proven experience in solution architecture and design leadership
- Deep expertise in VMware ecosystem technologies, ideally including:
- Aria Automation (vRealize Automation)
- Aria Operations (vRealize Operations)
- Solid automation capability with tools such as:
- PowerShell
- Python
- JavaScript
- Ability to engage confidently with customers and translate requirements into robust solutions
