Overview
We are supporting a boutique consultancy as they grow their Manchester-based team, delivering work across public sector and national security programmes. The local team is intentionally small today, with clear plans to scale, offering early hires genuine influence over how the practice develops. You will join a consultancy that combines the stability and reach of a mid-sized organisation with the autonomy and pace of a startup-style environment. The focus is on digital transformation, strategy, and complex change, working closely with clients to shape and deliver meaningful outcomes.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting public sector and national security clients through complex transformation programmes
- Owning problems end-to-end, from discovery and strategy through to delivery
- Working closely with client stakeholders to shape practical, outcome-focused solutions
- Operating in lean teams with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Contributing to the growth and direction of the Manchester practice
What They’re Looking For:
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing delivery roles
- Exposure to public sector, central government or regulated environments
- Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
- Ambitious, self-starting individuals who enjoy responsibility and ownership
- Eligibility for UK security clearance (SC as a minimum)
