Role: Infrastructure Engineer (All levels)

Location: Cheltenham or London

Contract duration: 6-12 months

Clearance level: eDV

We provide talent solutions for the UK government and their critical supply chains. We currently are on the lookout for eDV cleared infrastructure professionals to join our National Security sector.

Key skills:

  • Windows administration, hardening, deployment, management architectures, client and endpoint management and device control.
  • Linux administration, hardening, deployment, management architectures, client and endpoint management and device control.
  • Domain services - AD, LDAP, patching, AV, backup and auditing.
  • Monitoring technologies - Elastic, Kibana, Logstash, Grafana.
  • Containerisation - Docker and Kubernetes management, deployment, monitoring, hardening, design patterns and principles.
  • Cloud engineering - cloud native design principles and patterns on AWS and Azure, IaC, CI/CD, automation, scaling, security-in-depth, FinOps.
  • Hosting environments - platform management and hardening, cloud hosting environments.
  • Virtualisation - VMWare, ESXi and hyper converged infrastructure.
  • Databases - SQL and NoSQL.
  • Boundary control systems - gateways, diodes, firewalls, proxies.
  • Networks - LAN & WAN (mainly Cisco), Zero Trust Architectures.
  • Storage - SAN & NAS (mainly EMC).
  • Messaging - Exchange.
  • Dataflow - NiFi, cloud to and from on-prem.
  • CI/CD - Bitbucket, GitLab, Concourse, Jenkins.
  • Sustainable engineering patterns and design principles.
  • DevOps ways of working.
