We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a highly capable engineering team. This role will be part of the digital transformation unit working on a range of diverse multi-disciplinary teams, working hand-in-hand with the end client.
Skills & Experience
As one of our Cloud Engineers, you will design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure. You will develop automated build and deployment pipelines, implement monitoring and alerting solutions, troubleshoot production issues, ensure security and compliance, and optimise infrastructure. You will be using a variety of technologies such as Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes and have exposure to public cloud providers.
As part of your role you will:
- Work with the architect and the cross-discipline development teams to implement the relevant CI/CD automation for the team's needs.
- Be responsible for the infrastructure provisioning, configuration, build, deployment and monitoring.
- Provide operational support including application monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Conduct systems tests for security, performance, and availability.
YOUR PROFILE
You will have:
- 5+ years' experience working with multiple cloud technologies and services.
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Extensive experience with containerisation, virtualisation, and orchestration technologies.
- Extensive experience using Infrastructure as Code for configuration management and code implementation.
- Experience using Configuration management tools.
- Experience in scripting.
- Experience using version control software.
- Experience using online version control tools.
This role will require you to be willing and eligible to undergo a SC Clearance.
