The role will assess how capabilities, together with data architecture and governance, integrate to support a coherent, digitally enabled enterprise across the lifecycle.
THE OPPORTUNITY
- Apply sufficient understanding of M&S, Synthetics and Test & Evaluation digital capabilities to assess their integration with wider enterprise architecture, Digital Engineering and systems engineering environment.
- Engage effectively with multinational organisations, defence organisations, industry suppliers and stakeholder organisations in complex multi-stakeholder technical environments.
- Assess target enterprise and integration architectures aligned to organisational and programme objectives.
- Apply architectural principles, standards, patterns and reference architectures.
- Assess current-state enterprise, systems, integration and data architectures.
- Identify capability, integration, data, technology and interoperability gaps between current and target states.
- Evaluate transition architectures, roadmaps, sequencing and implementation strategies.
- Assess interface, information exchange and interoperability requirements.Identify and manage architectural dependencies across systems, data, technology, suppliers and programmes
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Digital Engineering - ability to assess the application and maturity of Digital Engineering, Digital Thread and Digital Twin approaches across complex engineering lifecycles.
- Systems Engineering and MBSE - ability to apply Systems Engineering and MBSE principles when assessing architectures, models, processes and technical solutions.
- M&S, Synthetics and T&E - sufficient technical understanding to assess M&S, Synthetics and T&E digital capabilities and their integration with wider enterprise and Digital Engineering architectures.
- Technical Analysis - strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical information, identify inconsistencies, assess evidence and form robust conclusions.
- Technical Maturity Assessment - ability to evaluate architectural credibility, technical maturity, feasibility, interoperability and implementation readiness.
Technical Assurance -: ability to apply verification, validation, assurance and acceptance
