What you'll be doing:

  • Supporting the various systems within the remit of the Enterprise Desktop Service including patching cycles and regular Windows image updates
  • Providing 3rd line technical support and troubleshooting issues escalated to the Desktop Service for resolution
  • Assisting Project driven or Service Improvement activities
  • Completing small systems designs, image designs, MECM and MDT implementations

Technical Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11 Desktop Imaging and deployment techniques and Troubleshooting
  • Good knowledge and experience with Windows Lockdown using Group Policy to NSCS/Microsoft SCM Levels, MECM Current Branch, Implementation and Support, including OS Deployment, Application Deployment, Patching and Endpoint Protection
  • Microsoft Active Directory Design, Deployment & Migration
  • Microsoft Windows Server Update Services Design & Deployment
  • Good Knowledge of Active Directory Group Policy Objects, including Applocker and Firewall Implementations
  • Good Knowledge of Citrix Virtualisation for Desktops and Applications
