An experienced Delivery Lead is required to support a priority Central Government transformation programme, leading delivery of a defined project within a multi-disciplinary team. The role focuses on a critical data and technology workstream and requires strong delivery leadership in a complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead delivery of a defined project, ensuring outcomes are met within time, cost, and quality constraints
- Own and manage the project plan, budget, milestones, and controls
- Provide day-to-day leadership to the project team
- Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and governance effectively
- Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including officials and delivery partners
- Report progress, risks, and performance to programme leadership
- Contribute to wider programme planning and reporting
Essential Experience
- Proven experience delivering complex or high-risk projects
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and operating with high autonomy
- Practical expertise in risk and issue management
- Deep understanding of data and technology within delivery environments
