Senior Test Analyst
Contract Role | Hybrid (London) | Competitive Day Rate
We're seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst to join a high-profile programme delivering complex business and technology change. This is an excellent opportunity for a testing professional who enjoys working across large-scale integration projects, leading testing activities, and driving best practice throughout the software testing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate testing activities across multiple workstreams.
- Produce test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test review reports.
- Execute and support functional and non-functional testing.
- Manage test environments, test data, defects, and test metrics.
- Mentor junior testers and provide guidance on testing best practice.
- Conduct impact assessments, support estimation activities, and manage testing risks.
- Work closely with project stakeholders to ensure quality standards are achieved and delivered on time.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Senior Test Analyst within large and complex programmes or integration projects.
- Strong understanding of test management, defect management, quality assurance, and testing methodologies.
- Experience producing a wide range of testing documentation and deliverables.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex database querying and analysis.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools such as HP ALM / Quality Center and other enterprise testing solutions.
- Knowledge of software development technologies such as PL/SQL, Java, C, or VB.
- Strong stakeholder management and team coordination skills.
- ISTQB Foundation and ISTQB Advanced Test Analyst Certification.
Desirable Experience
- ISTQB Advanced Technical Test Analyst or Test Manager certification.
- Test automation experience using Selenium and Java.
- Experience within application, infrastructure, security, or network testing environments.
