Network Specialist
Location: Remote with fortnightly trips to London
Clearance required: SC
We are seeking an experienced Network Specialist to support the design, build, automation, and management of secure enterprise and data centre networks within a high-profile defence environment. This role requires an individual with active SC Clearance and a strong background in network engineering, firewall management, and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and support secure data centre network solutions.
- Manage and maintain Palo Alto firewalls and Cisco switching infrastructure.
- Develop and utilise network automation tools and scripting to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Support network and firewall automation initiatives across complex environments.
- Provide network design, troubleshooting, and 3rd line technical support.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Active SC Clearance.
- Strong experience designing and managing data centre networks.
- Hands-on expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls and Cisco Switches.
- Experience with network automation and scripting technologies.
- Strong understanding of network security, routing, switching, and firewall technologies.
- Ability to work within secure, mission-critical defence environments.
