Cyber Resilience Business Change Consultant

National Security (eDV) | Cheltenham | Hybrid (minimum 3 days on site)

The opportunity

This is brand new work, supporting a national security customer as it builds its cyber response to an AI-generated threat landscape. You'll sit on the client side, helping lead the delivery of complex, mission-critical programmes. The aim is to strengthen cyber resilience and defence across some of the most sensitive environments in the UK. The threat is changing quickly, and this work will shape how the customer responds to it.

The programme

  • Five-year programme
  • Four major programmes within the AI Cyber Threat portfolio
  • Part of an integrated team, working alongside partners from the wider consortium
  • Based in Cheltenham, with scope to work from other locations where you're interfacing with other agencies

What you'll be doing

  • Leading business change on complex cyber programmes, from design through to adoption
  • Working with senior stakeholders to turn strategy into delivery that sticks
  • Helping teams and agencies adapt their ways of working as AI-enabled threats develop
  • Working closely with consortium partners to keep delivery joined up
  • Giving clear, honest advice on risks, dependencies and trade-offs

What we're looking for

  • Proven business change or transformation experience on large, complex programmes
  • A solid understanding of cyber security and resilience, and how it applies at organisational level
  • Experience in government, defence or national security
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders in a client-side role
  • Current eDV clearance, or the ability to obtain it

Why this role

Five years gives you time to build something properly and carry it through to adoption. You'll build deep relationships with the customer, take on more responsibility as the programme grows, and see the results of your own work. You'll also have options on how you work. We're a business built around the mission, with a more flexible and modern approach than you'll find in many larger consultancies. Everything we do starts with what's best for the Authority, and we want the people we put on this programme to work the same way.
