Business Analyst (DV)

Responsibilities
- Lead complex requirement gathering sessions with multiple stakeholders to capture detailed business needs.
- Process modeling and improvement: Create process models of moderate to high complexity to visualize current and future business processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Documentation: Develop comprehensive and often complex documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and user stories.
- Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs are met and expectations managed.
- Coordinate and lead client meetings and act as the primary contact for the client for major components of a solution.
- Solution design: Design and validate high‑level functional solutions that meet business requirements, address feasibility issues, align with technical constraints, and comply with the project framework (concepts, standards, user experience, etc.).

- Business Analysis: Expertise in advanced business analysis techniques, methodologies, and best practices.
- Requirements elicitation and analysis: Skilled in eliciting, analyzing, managing, and documenting business needs and complex requirements.
- Process modeling and improvement: Strong proficiency in business process modeling and a good understanding of process improvement and optimization strategies.
- Methodologies: In‑depth knowledge of delivery principles, agile and waterfall methodologies.
- Solution design: Proficiency in developing comprehensive and scalable business solutions.
- Stakeholder management: Advanced skills in managing relationships with key stakeholders.
- Documentation: Highly proficient in creating detailed documentation including business cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication.
- Strategic planning: Knowledge of strategic planning and decision‑making processes.
- Project leadership: Understanding of project management principles.
- Testing and validation: Good understanding of testing and proficiency in developing test plans and conducting testing.
- Quality assurance: Knowledge of QA principles and practices.
- Customer service: Understanding of customer service principles and the importance of providing high‑quality support and training to end‑users.
- Risk management: Understanding of risk management strategies.
- Security procedures: Understanding of security procedures to ensure protection of data and systems.
- Compliance: In‑depth understanding of organisational standards and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance.
- Continuous improvement: Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices.

Essential Skills
- Sound knowledge of the latest analysis tools and techniques and their application within past and present engagements.
- Demonstrable experience of working as a Senior Business Analyst on large or complex programmes/projects.
- Business analysis skills that are solution independent and transferable to many business scenarios.
- Adaptability to working with client‑preferred requirement management tools and methodologies.
- Sound knowledge of the latest developments and future strategy for the area and contribution to strategy development.
- Sound knowledge and experience of associated tools, techniques, and methods within the specialist area.
- Commercial sector knowledge.
