Ready to actually shape the way delivery works - rather than just follow it? We're building a PMO function from the ground up, and we need people who want more than just a seat at the table. This is a rare opportunity to join something small, define how it operates, and grow a team around you across multiple government departments, on programmes that genuinely matter.

About the Role

  • Support programme and project teams with planning, tracking, and delivery assurance activities.
  • Facilitate governance meetings, steering committees, and action tracking.
  • Monitor programme performance against agreed objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with internal governance requirements and public sector delivery standards.
  • Coordinate change requests, approvals, and documentation.
  • Support audits, reviews, and assurance activities as required.

Required Experience

  • Previous PMO experience within government departments, public sector organisations, or government-funded programmes.
  • Strong understanding of programme governance, controls, reporting, and assurance processes.
  • Experience supporting complex transformation, digital, business change, or technology programmes.
  • Proven experience managing RAID logs, programme reporting, and governance documentation.
  • Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
